It was the 25th edition of the [Stockholm Open](/source/Stockholm_Open) and was part of the [ATP Super 9](/source/ATP_Masters_Series) of the [1993 ATP Tour](/source/1993_ATP_Tour). It took place at the [Stockholm Globe Arena](/source/Stockholm_Globe_Arena) in [Stockholm](/source/Stockholm), Sweden, from 25 October through 1 November 1993.

The singles draw was headlined by [Pete Sampras](/source/Pete_Sampras). Fourth-seeded [Michael Stich](/source/Michael_Stich) won the singles title.
