The **1993 Amway Classic** was a women's [tennis](/source/Tennis) tournament played on [outdoor hard courts](/source/Hardcourt) at the [ASB Tennis Centre](/source/ASB_Tennis_Centre) in [Auckland](/source/Auckland) in New Zealand that was part of [Tier IV](/source/WTA_Tier_IV_tournaments) of the [1993 WTA Tour](/source/1993_WTA_Tour). It was the eighth edition of the tournament and was held from 1 February through 7 February 1993. Unseeded [Elna Reinach](/source/Elna_Reinach) won the singles title and earned $18,000 first prize money.[1][2][3][4]
