It took place at the [Monte Carlo Country Club](/source/Monte_Carlo_Country_Club) in [Roquebrune-Cap-Martin](/source/Roquebrune-Cap-Martin), France, near [Monte Carlo](/source/Monte_Carlo), [Monaco](/source/Monaco), 23 April until 29 April 1990. The men's field was headlined by [Stefan Edberg](/source/Stefan_Edberg) and [Boris Becker](/source/Boris_Becker).
