It was the 1st edition of the [Kremlin Cup](/source/Kremlin_Cup), and was part of the [World Series](/source/ATP_World_Series) of the [1990 ATP Tour](/source/1990_ATP_Tour). It took place at the [Olympic Stadium](/source/Olympic_Stadium_(Moscow_arena)) in [Moscow](/source/Moscow), Russia, from 5 November through 12 November 1990.
