The event was moved to the [PalaLido](/source/PalaLido) after heavy snowfall had collapsed the roof of the [Palazzo dello Sport](/source/Palasport_di_San_Siro) in January 1985 and caused its closure.[3] The event was part of the [1985 Nabisco Grand Prix](/source/1985_Nabisco_Grand_Prix). It was the eighth edition of the tournament and was played from 23 March until 31 March 1985.
