The **1978 Speedway World Pairs Championship** was the ninth [FIM](/source/F%C3%A9d%C3%A9ration_Internationale_de_Motocyclisme) [Speedway World Pairs Championship](/source/Speedway_World_Pairs_Championship).[1][2][3] The final took place in [Chorzów](/source/Chorz%C3%B3w), [oland. The championship was won by [England](/source/England_national_speedway_team) who beat [New Zealand](/source/New_Zealand_national_speedway_team) after Run-Off (both 24 points). Bronze medal was won by [Denmark](/source/Denmark_national_speedway_team) (21 points).[4]
