==Mission==
The mission of the 125th WF is to provide strategic meteorological information within an adequate amount of time, after given appropriate notice of changing meteorological elements. Being a combat team, the team's mission also includes five additional primary missions: [unconventional warfare](/source/unconventional_warfare_(United_States)), [foreign internal defense](/source/foreign_internal_defense), [special reconnaissance](/source/special_reconnaissance), [direct action](/source/direct_action), and [counter-terrorism](/source/counter-terrorism). Although not specifically a part of the [Special Operations Force](/source/Special_Operations_Force) (SOF) of the [United States Army](/source/United_States_Army), the 125th Weather Flight does directly support it.<ref name="AF Portal – 125th Weather Flight" />
